Grace Hanna is a social worker and murder victim family member based in Tallahassee, FL. She is active in death penalty abolition efforts at the state and national levels, and served on both FADP’s board and staff before stepping into the ED role. She has a particular interest in mitigation for individuals with serious mental illness facing capital charges, as well as in the political and social contexts underlying death penalty legislation. In addition to her work at FADP, Grace is a practicing mental health clinician with a speciality in eating disorder treatment. Grace received her BS in Sociology and Public Administration from Florida State University and her MSW from the University of Kentucky College of Social Work.
